During the months of November and December, the leadership at Crossroads began praying about where God was leading us next.  After much deliberation and prayerful consideration a campaign called The Ripple Effect was born.  As a way of getting the ball rolling with things a preview event was held at both campuses the first week in February.  The purpose of the events: give our core leaders a preview of what The Ripple Effect is all about and why we are doing it. If you missed the preview event you can listen to it online.  I recommend you do to get a history of where we have been and a context for where we are headed.

As March draws near, there will be more communication about The Ripple Effect.  The weekends from February 27/28-March 27/28 compile our Ripple Effect series with March 27/28 being commitment weekend.  During those weeks we will be asking everybody who comes to Crossroads to pick up and utilize what is called a "Journey Guide."  This booklet will assist you and your family go on a spiritual journey through The Ripple Effect.  It is filled with information about The Ripple Effect, a place for you to take message notes, pages to S.O.A.P. (daily bible readings and journalling), and a planning guide to help you as you pray and consider how God wants to use you through The Ripple Effect.  These will be handed out and distributed the first weekend of the series and at The Ripple Effect display thereafter.

In addition, our children's ministry and students ministry will be spotlighted on two of the weekends during March.  They will be participating in the campaign and will be presenting what will be happening in their areas along with a few other surprises.

Our greatest desire is that our entire church will participate with The Ripple Effect.  So, let me ask you: will you be a ripple-maker?
